F2L pair trainer
Drill F2L pairs case by case and build a reliable answer for every slot situation.

How F2L pair training works
What F2L pair cases are
F2L, the first two layers, is built by inserting a corner and its edge together as a pair. There are 41 pair cases, from free pairs to pieces stuck in the slot.
How the drill works
Select the groups of pairs you want to work on, choose an algorithm mode and add criteria such as a time limit. A connected smart cube shows your recognition and execution times.
How to practice here
Work on one group at a time and drill it until the answer comes without thinking, then add the next. Adaptive mode, a Pro feature, keeps you on your weakest cases.

How many F2L cases are there?
41 pair cases. The trainer groups them so you can work on a few at a time.
Do I have to memorize F2L algorithms?
Many cubers solve F2L pairs intuitively, by understanding how the corner and edge fit together. Learning the algorithms helps with the awkward cases.
Do I need a smart cube to use the trainer?
No. A smart cube is optional. When connected, it adds separate recognition and execution times.
Where do I find the algorithms?
Every case has a diagram and algorithms in the F2L pair algorithm library, linked above. Use the trainer to drill the groups you pick.
